Edith Laurencin joined CICAU’s Board of Directors in August 2022. She is passionate about cultural education and its importance in teaching awareness, understanding and acceptance of diverse identities and experiences. She currently works for a non-profit as a Director of Finance and Administration. Prior to joining the non-profit organization, she spent over 20 years working in finance and human resources in university settings. She also served as an adjunct instructor teaching courses in anthropology, sociology, and criminal justice over 15 years.
Edith holds a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology from Rutgers University, an M.A. from Syracuse University, and a B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University.
