Yolonda Udvardy, Ed.D.

Board of Directors

Yolonda Udvardy is a dynamic leader in higher education with extensive experience in program development, strategic partnerships, and student success initiatives. As the Director of High School Initiatives at Bucks County Community College, she is responsible for spearheading efforts to create educational pathways for high school students, emphasizing access to dual enrollment programs and career readiness. Previously, Yolonda served as Director of Continuing and Professional Studies at Delaware Valley University for over a decade, where she successfully managed credit and noncredit programs, fostering lifelong learning within the community. She is deeply committed to advancing cultural education, particularly in early childhood, as a means to nurture empathy, adaptability, and global awareness. Yolonda advocates for incorporating diverse perspectives into curricula to challenge biases and inspire critical thinking.

A dedicated member of professional organizations, Yolonda shapes policies that expand educational access and align workforce development with community needs. Beyond her professional role, she champions cultural education to promote inclusivity, social justice, and tolerance, preparing students to become culturally competent, inclusive leaders in an increasingly globalized world.

Outside of work, Yolonda is an avid football and baseball fan who enjoys sharing these experiences with her family. As a proud mother of two sons, she cherishes supporting their activities and exploring outdoor adventures. Her love for travel fuels her passion for immersing herself in different cultures, enriching both her personal and professional life.

Yolonda holds a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Delaware Valley University, an M.S. in Education: Science of Instruction, and a B.S. in Biological Science and Technology, both from Drexel University in Pennsylvania.
